BBL 2017-18: Ben Duckett highly impressed with Shadab Khan

Shadab Khan -Young Pakistani leg-spinner, on Wednesday, received praise from England’s star batsman Ben Duckett for his brilliant performance of his debut encounter in the Big Bash League (BBL).

Shadab made the headlines when he etched his name into record book by featuring as the youngest overseas player (At 19 years and 77 days) in the BBL, where he is representing the Brisbane Heat.

Now, the all-rounder has once again caught attention when he turned up for the Brisbane Heat in their opening fixture of BBL 2017-18 against the Melbourne Stars and gave a match-winning performance in his debut for the Heats, taking two crucial wickets of as Stars - Luke Wright and Glenn Maxwell and played key role in Brisbane’s win 15-runs win against Melbourne on 20 December.

Soon after the game, Ben Duckett took to micro-blogging site Twitter to express his excitement for the Australian T20 League, saying everything about the BBL is so exciting – from the crowds to the matches.

He also impressed with Shadab’s fantastic performance in his debut in the BBL, predicting the leg-spinner will go on to take a lot of wickets for the Brisbane Heat in this season.

Duckett wrote on Twitter, “Everything about the Big Bash is so good. The cricket, the fans and the commentary. So good to watch! @76Shadabkhan is gonna take a lot of wickets. #BBL07”
