The picturesque wedding of India skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma took the internet by storm recently and the social media sites are still flooding with wishes for the newlyweds. The lovebirds tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony in Tuscany, Italy on Monday (December 11).

Ever since the news broke, people in social media went frenzy with their warm wishes for the adorable couple. From Bollywood superstars to cricketers all across the globe, almost everyone conveyed their heart-warming wishes to the power couple.

The adorable couple has now returned to India following their honeymoon and is all set to host a reception in New Delhi on Thursday (December 21). In order to extend their wedding reception invitation, Virat and Anushka have a meet up with honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

In a video shared by Virat Kohli’s fan page on Instagram, the newlyweds can be seen shaking hands with PM Modi. Virat and Anushka can also be spotted having a pleasant conversation with the Prime Minister. It is still unclear though whether PM Modi will attend the reception or not.

Earlier, PMO India’s official Twitter handle shared the picture of the lovebirds with PM Modi.  

“Captain of the Indian cricket team @imVkohli and noted actor @AnushkaSharma met PM @narendramodi this evening. The Prime Minister congratulated them on their wedding,” PMO India had tweeted.

It is learnt that the Delhi reception will be followed by a reception in Mumbai on December 26th for Anushka’s industry friends and Kohli’s fellow cricketers.

Virat will head off to South Africa with his Indian teammates on December 27. Team India are slated to play three Tests, six ODIs and three T20Is against the Proteas, with the series opener starting with Cape Town Test on January 5, 2018.
