There is barely any sight more beautiful in the world of cricket than watching Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma batting in full pomp together. The duo enjoy each other’s company and have a very good mutual understanding while forging a partnership.

Last week, India skipper Virat Kohli started a new inning in life as he tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Anushka Sharma in a hush-hush ceremony in Tuscany, Italy. Ever since the news broke, people in social media went frenzy with their warm wishes for the adorable couple. From Bollywood superstars to cricketers all across the globe, almost everyone conveyed their heart-warming wishes to the adorable couple.

However, Kohli’s deputy Rohit Sharma came up with the most quirky suggestion for the adorable couple as he insisted Anushka to carry on with the surname.

“Congratulations you two! @imVkohli, I’ll share the husband handbook with you. @AnushkaSharma, keep the surname,” Rohit wrote on his official Twitter page while wishing the lovebirds.

Just a day after that amusing tweet, Rohit took the cricketing world by storm with his record-extending third ODI double ton to guide India to a series-levelling 141-run victory. Replaying to the Hitman’s tweet almost after a week, Kohli wrote: “Haha thanks Rohit, and please do share the Double Hundred Handbook as well.”

In ODI cricket, Kohli and Rohit have been batting together since 2010 and have amassed 3413 runs at a mind-boggling average of nearly 60. They have shared as many as 12-century stands while their 4 double hundred partnerships in ODI cricket is a world record.

Both Kohli and Rohit have been in fine form in 2017 and are placed at number 1 and 2 spots in the list of highest run-getter in ODIs. In 26 ODIs, Virat has aggregated 1460 runs at an average of 76.84 with 6 tons and 7 fifties while Sharma has piled up 1293 runs at 71.83 with 6 tons and 5 fifties.
