The picturesque wedding of Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma took the internet by storm recently and the social media sites are still flooding with wishes for the newlyweds. The lovebirds tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Tuscany on Monday (December 11).

Ever since the news broke, people in social media went frenzy with their warm wishes for the adorable couple. From Bollywood superstars to cricketers all across the globe, almost everyone conveyed their heart-warming wishes to the power couple.

Talking about the high-profile wedding, India’s star tennis player Sania Mirza said that she is extremely happy for the adorable couple. However, from her personal experience she remarked that high-profile weddings are usually complicated and Virat and Anushka will have to face the media at some point in time.

"The media hype I don't cherish at all. It's amazing right Virat and Anushka...everybody's known they have been together for a long time and what better when two people love each other to get married. They have gotten married and they realise how much media hype will be around them so they went away to Italy and did it,” Sania was quoted as saying by IANS.

"But still at some point they will have to face it. Hugh profile weddings are always complicated in terms of dealing with so much of outside stuff. Shaadi gives enough stress anyway. My sister got married and it wasn't a high profile wedding but was still stressful," she further added.

It is learnt that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will be hosting a reception on December 21 in New Delhi for their near and dear ones which will be followed by a reception for industry friends and Kohli’s fellow cricketers in Mumbai on December 26. Sania though is not quite sure about her attendance at their reception.

"I don't know (whether I will attend their reception) I am not in the country I am leaving on December 21. I will be in Dubai," She said.

Earlier, Sania had wished Virat and Anushka on the day of their marriage by tweeting: "Awee! congratulations you two .. you look lovely and so so happy .. wish you all the happiness in the world."
