One of most adored celebrity couples i.e. the heartthrob of Indian cricket Virat Kohli and Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Tuscany on Monday (December 11). The lovebirds took the internet by storm with their beautiful pictures and the fans were in awe of their wedding and how beautifully it was planned.

From the picturesque location to the wedding wardrobe, the Virushka wedding certainly ended up giving some major relationship goals to many lovebirds. In fact, the fans are still quite keen to know how everything took place and how the wedding planning panned out so well.

Talking to BBC, award-winning wedding designer Devika Narain, who was one of the imperative wedding planners of the star-studded ceremony, recalled a moment that created a panic in their team. The planners had taken care of almost everything. However, they somehow missed to take the weather into consideration.

“It is winters here (in Italy) and nobody gets married in the winters here. On the morning of the wedding day, we all woke up to a completely white landscape and the dew had frozen. And by noon, it was dripping. The outdoors function had to be moved to an indoor courtyard,” Devika Narain quoted in an exclusive interview with BBC.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will be hosting a reception on December 21 in New Delhi for their near and dear ones which will be followed by a reception for industry friends and Kohli’s fellow cricketers in Mumbai on December 26.

The power couple will begin their journey as Mr. and Mrs. at their new home in Worli, Mumbai. Their 7,171-sq-ft-sea-view home on the 34th floor worth nearly Rs. 34 crore.

As far as their respective work is concerned – Kohli will head off to South Africa with his Indian teammates on December 27. Wife Anushka will also accompany him during the new year eve in South Africa. However, she will return to India in the first week of January to start preparing for her next movie with Shah Rukh Khan.
