Former India cricketer Vinod Kambli hopes for a triple hundred from Rohit Sharma in ODI cricket.

Kambli tweeted and shared his views on Rohit's third double hundred in ODIs. In his tweet, he asked his followers if we can see Rohit becoming the first cricketer to score a triple ton in limited overs.

“@ImRo45 .slaughter,slaughter,slaughter.Three double hundreds an Amazing achievement. I am sure in the near future he will be the first one to get 300 agree or disagree,” tweeted Vinod Kambli.

Rohit in the second encounter with Sri Lanka at Mohali, scored an unbeaten on 208 to become the second captain to score a double ton in ODI cricket.

After the match, Sharma was interviewed by Team India head coach Ravi Shastri for bcci.tv and the opener revealed what different did he do this time around after missing out in Dharamsala. "I kept telling myself that unless I make a mistake, I am not getting out," said Sharma about the way he started his knock.

"I wanted them to get me out. I didn't want to throw away my wicket. So that was something I kept telling myself and I was quite determined to bat as long as possible. The wicket was superb and the outfield here was so fast. I just kept telling myself to hold the position, hold the shape and hit through the line. That's all I did," added Rohit.
