Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in a hush wedding in a lush Tuscany villa in Italy. They were accompanied by family members and close friends only and kept the wedding a secret affair from the media.

The newlyweds released a joint statement thanking the media and fans for respecting their privacy and released photos and videos from the ceremonies. Currently honeymooning in Rome, Virat and Anushka will come back to prepare for a grand reception in Mumbai on December 21 for Bollywood.

The couple have decided to ‘go green’ for the invites. It has a sapling attached to each box of invite and Virat sent the first invite to Sachin Tendulkar, while Anushka Sharma sent her first invite to Shah Rukh Khan.
