It's confirmed! Everyone's favorite couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in Italy. A heritage property within a resort in Tuscany was decked up for the wedding. The wedding ceremony took place earlier this morning with only close family and friends present at the function. 

“Although the marriage was an extremely close-knit affair, the couple plans to throw a grand reception in Mumbai later this month where all the members of the Indian cricket team will be present since they will be town for a match against Sri Lanka scheduled for December 24,” says an insider as per Hindustan times.

If reports are to be believed their wedding was decided 3 months back. The couple were dating each other for last four years and were expected to get married very soon.

Sources also claim that couple's friends will be invited to a grand reception on December 21, which is to take place in Mumbai. A further news also broke out that Anushka will be traveling to South Africa with the Indian team.

She applied for her visa (short-term tourist category) in Mumbai on 22nd November and the same was processed on 24th November.

The couples were seen together many times in recently. But fans were in awe after Bollywood actress was seen with the Indian skipper in Manyavar ad. As it is known that Virat Kohli is the brand ambassador of the ethnic brand, they especially roped in Anushka for Diwali advertisement campaign.
