Virat Kohli adds another feather to his name

Indian skipper Virat Kohli is a sensation on both on and off the field, and undeniably one of the best batsmen across the world of the modern era who also led his team to the number one spot in the ICC Test rankings.

He also broke many records this year with his stunning show with the bat, amassing 2818 international runs across all formats. With his prolific form with the bat, the 29-year-old right-hander is found himself in the top ODI and T20I batsman in the latest ICC rankings.

With India’s recent Test series win against Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli equaled former Australian captain Ricky Ponting’s record of the most successive series wins as captain.

Now, the dashing Indian cricketer added another feather to his cap, as Kohli becomes Yahoo's most searched sportsperson for 2017. He is also the fifth most searched Indian as well with the top of the list grabbed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
