Former Indian fast-bowler Ajit Agarkar celebrated his 40th birthday today and his former teammate Harbhajan Singh took to Twitter to wish his buddy in his style on the special occasion of his birthday.

It is known that Harbhajan Singh never shies away from expressing himself and due to his over friendly nature, he engages himself in debates many times on the social media. On Monday, Bhajji posted a photo of himself and Ajit Agarkar on his official handle to wish him on his birthday.

As both Bhajji and Agarkar have spent several years in the Indian dressing room together and have been long-time buddies, the veteran off-spinner decides to add a bit of humour to his caption by asking something from the right-hand fast bowler instead of gifting him.

He wrote on the micro-blogging site, “Happy birthday Roomie @imAagarkar...could you send me something plz 😂🤣 Wish you all the happiness brother..#TopFella ❤😘”

Ajit Agarkar, who represents his country between 1998 to 2007 and was considered as a highly successful bowler in the limited overs cricket for India, has 288 scalps, but his Test career was not as glorifying as his ODI career, taking just 58 wickets in 26 Tests.

Another teammate Suresh Raina also wished Agarkar, adding “Happy birthday @imAagarkar, a fantastic athlete! An athlete who gave it his all on the field, be it batting, bowling or fielding! Miss watching those opening spells.”
