India will look to seal the T20I series when they play a battered Sri Lanka in the second T20I. India produced an all-round show to beat Sri Lanka by 93 runs in the first T20I. India would look to wrap up the series at Indore itself. For Sri Lanka, it has been a tough journey as they have flattered to deceive, only on occasions running India close. India will start favourites in the Indore T20I as they have been extremely dominating in the past few games. India will again look to dominate Sri Lanka and bag the series in Indore itself. Sri Lanka would look for a morale-boosting series-levelling win and take the series into the decider. But our vote goes to India in the Indore T20I.

Best economical pick – Manish Pandey made the most out of the opportunity that beckoned his way in the first T20I. Arriving at the crease in the 15th over, Pandey announced himself in style with a six and a four. He finished with an unbeaten 32 off just 18 deliveries with two fours and as many number of sixes.

Top captains & vice captains – KL Rahul made a comeback to the team in the shortest format of the game. Rahul, who has a T20I century to his name, played the anchor role in the Indian innings. He took his initial bit of time to settle in. Once he found his feet moving, he started playing his shots freely. He scored 61 off just 48 balls with 7 fours and a six to his name. Yuzvendra Chahal was the pick of the Indian bowlers with figures of 4/23 in first T20I. Chahal was unplayable as the opposition batsmen were found wanting against him. Bowling in tandem with Kuldeep Yadav, Chahal kept a strong hold on the run flow as well.

Smart pick – MS Dhoni showed his class yet again in the first T20I. He proved why he is revered as one of the greatest finishers. Dhoni hit an unbeaten 39 off just 22 balls with four boundaries and one maximum. En route his quick-fire cameo, he added 68 runs for the fourth wicket with Manish Pandey.

Cautious Pick – Kusal Perera tried to build a partnership but wasn't able to accelerate his innings. He played 28 balls and scored only 19 runs before he lost his wicket to Kuldeep. Perera should have tried to score a little faster as he built pressure on the rest of the batsmen.

My XI – KL Rahul (Captain), Yuzvendra Chahal (Vice-Captain) MS Dhoni, Manish Pandey, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav,Thisara Perera, Danushka Gunathilaka, Upul Tharanga, Akila Dananjaya
