IND vs SL 2017: Virat Kohli surpasses Brian Lara in double ton tally

Virat Kohli scored yet another double hundred in Test cricket his sixth and in the process has surpassed West Indian legend Brian Lara who had five double hundreds as captain. Kohli who didnt’t have any double hundred till a good part of 2016, has hit six now in a space of 500 days of Test cricket that he has played. It all started in the away series against West Indies and seems to still continue. Kohli definitely seems to be in the form of his life and is making the most of the good form that he is in.

. Kohli’s innings in his own backyard has seen his team benefit as they are all set to post a massive first innings score. India, on the other hand, is prettily placed in the Test match and already crossed  500 runs in the first innings.

Meanwhile, some Sri Lankan players have decided to wear masks saying that they are doing it to save themselves to be polluted of the Delhi air. There is a lot of confusion in the middle of the pitch with the Indian players denying this strategy citing reasons of disturbance and lack of concentration.
