IND vs SL 2017: Twitter reacts to Virat Kohli's record-breaking sixth double ton in Test cricket

When it becomes to batsmanship across all three formats in cricket, India skipper Virat Kohli is no less than a monster as he recorded his sixth double ton in Test cricket within a span of just 17 months. It was Kohli’s second double hundred of the series and now the 29-year-old has equalled the legendary Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag in the list of most double hundred by an Indian in Test cricket.

During his marathon knock at his home ground (Feroz Shah Kotla), the Delhi lad also surpassed West Indian batting great Brian Lara (5) as a captain to boast most double centuries to his name. In the preceding Test at Nagpur, Virat had notched up his fifth double hundred in Test cricket with a scintillating inning of 213 as India annihilated the Lankans by an innings and 239 runs.
