Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is MS Dhoni admirer and he called him 'King of Versatility' after India's win against Ireland on Wednesday.
India, after being put in to bat, scored 208/5 as the openers crushed the opponents with a huge partnership for the first wicket. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan were toying with the Ireland bowlers. Sharma missed out a hundred after being clean bowled in the last over by Peter Chase. He scored 97 in 61 balls.
Dhoni, who came in to bat at number 4, could only face five deliveries. However, he still managed to smash a six and a four.
The 36-year-old didn't take time to settle as there was no time as well. While taking charge in the last over, Dhoni lost his wicket. Ranveer coming in defense of the wicket-keeper batsman, wrote, "Koi Nahi Yaar, last over hai.. Dhoni’s game is unparalleled. He can bat precisely in the manner that the situation requires. King of versatility! ???? @msdhoni #IREvIND."
India won the game after an all-round dominant performance. Ireland was restricted 76 runs short in the first T20I.
