MS Dhoni probably had the best Indian Premier League (IPL) season till now in 2018. He scored runs and led the team to title win. It was an IPL season to remember for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper.
The former India skipper Dhoni found a place in IPL 2018 XI of most of the cricket experts. However, his name was missing in Harsh Goenka's XI. Goenka is the chairperson of the RPG group which owned the now defunct IPL franchise, Rising Pune Supergiant for two years in IPL 9 and IPL 10.
Harsh never warmed up to Dhoni and he continously took subtle digs at the former India captain in his tweets for last two years. He celebrated the 36-year-old's downfall in 2017 and even engaged in fights with Dhoni fans on social media.
Even after having an exalted season, the wicket-keeper batsman couldn't make it to the businessman's IPL 2018 XI. For captaincy role, Goenka picked Kane Williamson. The Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper was also crowned the Orange Cap for being the highest scorer this season.
