Wankhede once again turned out to the venue where MS Dhoni quenched his thirst for a trophy. Just like India's World Cup win in 2011, Harbhajan Singh was Dhoni's teammate in his IPL 2018 title win.
The win gave Harbhajan nostalgia which reflected in his Twitter post. Sharing a picture with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper Dhoni, The offie wrote, "Same ground where we won the World Cup 2011 together and never imagine we would be playing together in ipl for the same team and winning it after 10 years playing against each other’s...Wankhede lucky venue for us ? @msdhoni @ChennaiIPL @IPL ????????????????."

The win was special for team CSK, as they were returning after serving a 2 years ban. Dhoni, who played for Rising Pune Supergiants in CSK's absence, was eager to lead the team to a title win.

For Chennai, it was Shane Watson who showed a magnificent performance with the bat to make sure the men in yellow doesn't have to struggle for the win. He scored a quick 117* off 57 balls to chase the target 179 with 9 balls to spare.
