Karn has been part of the team that won the IPL trophy in the last three seasons. He was part of Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016, part of Mumbai Indians in 2017, and now CSK in 2018. Now he is being considerd as the lucky charm for the team he plays for.

Rishabh Pant bagged Emerging and Stylish player of the season award, but if there was any lucky charm award, Karn would have easily got it. The 30-year-old flaunted his achievement on Twitter and shared a picture of three helmets of the franchise he played for.

Karn has represented India in all three formats. He made his Test debut on 9 December 2014 against Australia and picked up 4 wickets in 2 innings. His ODI debut was a historic game in which Rohit Sharma scored 264 runs at Eden Gardens. 

Chennai Super Kings bought him for ₹5 crores in the 2018 IPL auction. He had bowled a match-winning spell against Rising Pune Supergiants in IPL 2017 final for Mumbai Indians. In his 4 overs quota, he bowled 12 dot balls and ended up conceding just 18 runs.
