The 2018 season of Indian Premier League (IPL 11) started on 7 April 2018 and finished on 27 May 2018 in Mumbai.

Chennai Super Kings defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets in the final to clinch their third IPL title and first since 2011 and they also equalled Mumbai Indians' record of most IPL title.

Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson won the Orange Cap for scoring most runs (735) in the tournament, while Kings XI Punjab's Andrew Tye won the Purple Cap for taking most wickets (24).

Kolkata Knight Riders' Sunil Narine was named the Most Valuable Player and Delhi Daredevils' Rishabh Pant was named the Emerging Player of the Tournament.
