MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings to their third IPL title much to the happiness of the CSK fans all around the country. The team was heavily criticised for choosing an over aged team. However, this win by CSK rests every criticism that came along its way and has proved that it is very well known to the senior editors how to replay it back to their franchise.

CSK came back to the IPL fold after serving its relegation for two years and this IPL victory only justifies that fact that CSK is undoubtedly the best IPL team in the league. Speaking about Dhoni's performance, Sourav told a Bengali daily, "Dhoni looked extremely relaxed in this IPL. In a scenario which is already well-known to him, the fact that the franchisee backed him to the hilt helped the team". Sourav also praised Dhoni's much-improved fitness and said that CSK captain has done of lot of work on the physical aspect.

However, according to Sourav, they key reason for CSK's success this season was the fact that the franchise gave him the respect he deserves being such a senior player in Indian cricket having played the game for over a decade and a half.

Ganguly, who recently realeased his autobiography " A Century is not Enough" has covered very interesting aspects of his life in the book. Speaking of his IPL career, KKR released Sourav after the first three years of the league, regarding which he mentioned in his book.
