R.P Singh, the veteran Indian fast bowler, has picked up his best XI of the season after the end of the finale which saw Chennai Super Kings being crowned as Champions for the third time

R.P Singh, who played 14 Tests, 58 ODIs, 10 T20Is internationally for India and has been doing Hindi commentary and expert work for the host broadcaster of Star Sports, took to social media network Twitter to praise how competitive the league was this year and listed his team.

His team has the class and ability of KL Rahul and Ambati Rayudu to open the innings, both were absolutely magnificent for Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings respectively.

RP has further decorated his team with the humongous prowess of Virat Kohli at no.3, Rishabh Pant at no.4, AB de Villiers at no.5, in his middle order. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers were the two pillars for Royal Challengers Bangalore again and young Rishabh Pant was the best T20 batsman of this season.

RP Singh played under him and so it was only ripe that he named Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the captain of his team. This has statistically been MS Dhoni's best Indian Premier League season till date. He was outstanding with the gloves too. RP has Dhoni batting at no.6 and also doing the wicketkeeping.

On the bowling front, Hardik Pandy is there in this eleven to provide all-round balance at no.7, with Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Zadran, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Andrew Tye completing the team and giving it immense depth and ability.
