The former Australia cricketer and current Rajasthan Royals mentor Shane Wane picked his IPL 2018 XI and predicted the winner of this season in his tweet.

He replaced Sunil Narine with Rashid after fans questioned Rashid's exclusion. The Afghanistan leg-spinner is having a great season with 21 wickets in 16 matches.

Apart from Rashid, the other three overseas players in Warne's XI are Jos Buttler, Andre Russell, and Andrew Tye. All four overseas players in former Aussie's team have performed more than enough to make their team feature in top 4.

Warne thinks Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will lift the title for the third time. From CSK he picked only MS Dhoni in his XI. Kane Williamson was missing from his team, which makes Dhoni the skipper of his team most probably.

Warne's team Rajasthan Royals have stunned everyone by making it to top 4 even after a below-par season. It was only because of one magical move of playing Buttler as an opener. The English cricketer scored 548 runs in this IPL with an average of 54.80 and 5 half century by his name.

Royals were knocked out of the tournament after failing to win the Eliminator against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). They missed Buttler in the chase as Ajinkya Rahane-led team saw a miserable collapse in the game.
