IPL 2018: Shahrukh Khan praises KKR players for a memorable season, Chris Lynn responds

KKR had a rather memorable season leading upto the second qualifier.

Kolkata Knight Riders' IPL 2018 season came to an end as they lost the second qualifier against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs at Eden Gardens. Rashid Khan set Eden Gardens alight as his remarkable performance with the bat and ball took KKR down. 

Shahrukh Khan, the KKR  team owner praised his players by crediting them for a memorable season. He shared an emotional message on Twitter, congratulating the team for their efforts. 

SRK tweeted, “Well was not to be. Will have to cancel my flight but KKR well done. U did yourself proud. All of u so so well done. Love you & yes I am smiling. Thks for the entertainment & so many moments of glory. V r an awesome team.”

KKR opener Chris Lynn replied to his tweet thanking the KKR family and the owner for showing true sportsman spirit throughout the campaign.  

Sunrisers Hyderabad will clash against MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in the final on Sunday.
