Afghan leg-spinner Rashid Khan has been a revelation since he first burst onto the Indian Premier League scene in IPL 2017. He was amazing for SRH and proved to be a game changer for them with the ball.

One of the best executors of the googly, 19-year-old Rashid Khan has been brilliant with the ball after power plays for Kane Williamson, picking up 21 wickets for his team in IPL 2018. Rashid’s fast leg spinners and googlies have bamboozled the batsmen of the top and lower order alike.

He has been good with the bat as well, playing important cameos. He has impressed many experts and former cricketers, but the biggest of them, Sachin Tendulkar was so impressed with Rashid’s performance, that couldn’t help himself from taking to Twitter and praising the young leggie.

Sachin wrote “Always felt @rashidkhan_19 was a good spinner but now I wouldn’t hesitate in saying he is the best spinner in the world in this format. Mind you, he’s got some batting skills as well. Great guy”
