Australian cricketer David Warner, who missed IPL 2018 due to a ban on him, has expressed his gratitude after reading all the kind comments by his fans, who are missing him in the ongoing Indian Premier League.

Warner, who has been banned by BCCI to feature in IPL 2018 due to his involvement in ball tampering scandal, went on to say that he is eager to get back on the field for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

On Tuesday (May 22), Warner firstly wished SRH for their all-important qualifier clash against CSK. Taking to social photo site Instagram, the 31-year-old had written: “Good luck tonight @sunrisershyd I would love to see a lot of this please. It’s been a great tournament so far and being extremely well lead by Kane. In great hands #orangearmy”.

Seeing the positive response from his fans and followers in the comment section, the former Australia vice-captain further wrote: “Thanks, everyone for your kind comments, God bless and the girls and I are cheering @sunrisershyd on and will see you next year. Let’s bring the trophy back to Hyderabad in a few days @candywarner1”.

Warner, who has led Sunrisers Hyderabad to IPL title in 2016, is currently serving the 12-month suspension imposed on him by Cricket Australia (CA). He was found to be the chief instigator in the ball-tampering scandal that shocked the cricketing fraternity in March.

Besides Warner, CA had also issued severe punishments to former Australia captain Steve Smith and opener Cameron Bancroft. While Smith was banned for one-year, Bancroft was barred from international cricket for a period of 9-months.
