Chennai Super Kings (CSK) qualified for the IPL final for the seventh time. They have played nine seasons and reached playoffs every time. The captain remained same on all occasions, MS Dhoni.

CSK were keen to make an impact after coming back from serving a 2-year ban. Dhoni had to play for Rising Pune Supergiants and he didn't look as much connected with the team as he is with Chennai.

The Dhoni-led team defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 2 wickets on Tuesday to get the ticket to final. After the win in Qualifier 1, CSK players celebrated the victory in the dressing room. Dwayne Bravo, famous for entertainment, was singing and dancing in the dressing room after the win that matters.

In a video tweeted by Chennai Super Kings official Twitter account, the CSK players, including Bravo and Harbhajan Singh, are dancing and singing after the win. MS Dhoni is also in the video but he is sitting on the chair. Sharing the video they wrote, ”Champion’s groovy tribute to #Thala after getting through to the #Finale! #WhistlePodu #yellove ???????? @msdhoni."

It was Faf Du Plessis (67*) who steered the team to the victory. The South African cricketer wasn't given much chance in group stage game. Even when he was given the opportunity, Faf failed to capitalize it. However, he did step up at the crucial time and turned out to be the savior of men in yellow.
