Virat Kohli has been the part of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) from the inception of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008 and with more than a decade of association, the emotional bonding between the franchise and him has become concrete.

Kohli became part of the IPL franchise in 2008, as RCB bought him in a draft for youth players outside the auction for USD 30,000. Kohli remained part of the RCB as the only retained player for 2011 season and when captain Daniel Vettori retired in 2013, became captain of the franchise and has led the team since then.

The best result for the RCB team under him has been reaching the finals of the tournament in 2016.

In several interviews, Virat Kohli has said that he has a very strong bonding with the RCB team management and fans and he has committed to playing for the franchise for life. He says he doesn’t see himself playing for any other team in the IPL.

In a video put up by Royal Challenger Bangalore’s official Twitter account, Virat Kohli admits the same feeling for the franchise and in the end says, “I don’t see myself playing anywhere else
