Rajasthan Royals’ mentor Shane Warne has apologized to his players and Team Management, as he will not available for RR’ crucial IPL Playoffs 2018 on Wednesday (23 May) at Eden Gardens.

The reason is that Warne traveled to Australia for some personal reason and he can only reach India on Sunday (27 May) because of some last-minute 'technical issues', which means he will not be with the team when Rajasthan play Kolkata in the Eliminator.

Royals will take on the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the second Playoff of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, and Warne is confident that the Royals will make it to IPL finale and he will join the team to cheer up them in the big game of the T20 event.

Last week following RR’s last league match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Jaipur, Warne had to left for Melbourne to attend the birthday celebrations of his son and daughter, and was expected to reach Kolkata late on Tuesday. But the Aussie spin legend will now land in the country on Sunday (27 May) due to 'technical issues' that led to delay in his arrival.

On Tuesday (22 May), Warne took to Twitter to inform about the delay in his arrival, as well as, wishes all the luck to his team for the coming super playoff against the KKR, saying he is ready for the grand finale to see them here in Mumbai on 27 May.

His post reads, “Good luck to the @rajasthanroyals in the playoffs. Apologies I can’t be there with you on Wednesday & Friday, but will see you Sunday for the final. Remember the things we’ve spoken about re playing finals / big games - you’re ready & I’m so proud of you all. You’ve got this ????”
