The Indian ace badminton player PV Sindhu attended Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)'s game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to support the home side. Although SRH lost the game, Sindhu still enjoyed the game of cricket.

Sunrisers did well this season to stay at the top of points table with 18 points. They showed good consistency, especially with the ball. However, the Kane Williamson led side have lost last few league games. And now they would be hoping for a fresh start in the playoffs stage. With the assurance of finishing in top 2, SRH are set to play the first Qualifiers on May 22 in Mumbai.

During the match, Sindhu answered few questions from the presenters in the studio. She was happy that the home team performed great this season. “SRH are doing really well and I hope they win this match too. When I’m in Hyderabad and have no matches, I do follow Sunrisers matches. No one in particular but whole team is doing really well,” she said.

The world number 3 badminton player named two cricketers who could be her double partner in a badminton match. “I would choose one of the best from the Indian team to be my doubles partner. I don’t know how all of them play! There is a lot you can learn from Dhoni and Kohli. There’s a lot you can learn from them even being in a different sport. The aggressiveness, the way they play, there’s lots to see from Dhoni and Kohli,” she said.

Sindhu, who is away from national duty and will not be competing in the Uber Cup due to a packed calendar which has World and Asian Games to come, stated she attends SRH games when possible. “When I’m off from badminton and I’m in Hyderabad, I do come for matches. Last time also I was here and this time again. Also since its a Saturday, I came to enjoy and chill,” said the Rio Olympics medallist.
