Robin Uthappa, the Kolkata Knight Riders batsman, has come out and stated after his team's important win last night against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, which has sealed their place in the playoffs, that KKR were extremely positive coming into the match and they never felt they could lose.

Uthappa said after the match, "Well, we didn't think about losing. We did fantastically well with the ball after they were 144-odd in 14 overs. To pull them back to 172 was a sensational effort by our bowlers. We have been batting pretty well,"

Chasing a target of 173 for a win, Kolkata Knight Riders reached there in just 19.4 overs to confirm their spot in top-three of the Indian Premier League points table with 16 points.

Talking about his own batting, as he scored a 34 ball 45, Robin Uthappa said, "I am pretty happy to have gotten a string of scores - I wanted it more getting into the playoffs. Happy with the way I batted today - playing the sheet anchor's role to Lynny. We are hoping that Punjab does well tomorrow. Let's see what happens,"

Robin, when he gets going, is one of the prettiest sights of our game. He would like to continue with scores like the one last night, the Dinesh Karthik led team will need him as they approach the business end of the league. KKR having finished 3rd, will hence need to win all their games in the playoffs to win the title for the third time.
