Despite being at the top of the Indian Premier League points table of the season currently, with 9 wins in their 13 games, Kane Williamson is seeking perfection from his team in the toughest T20 League.

He is disappointed on his team's loss last night against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, where he himself played a magnificent knock of 81 from just 42 balls but couldn't take his game to the finishing line.

Speaking about the match, Kane Williamson has said, "I think if we are honest, we missed the trick a little bit with the ball. RCB were fantastic in batting, put us under pressure from ball one and got a good total. When you're chasing, a lot needs to go your way and you need to make very good decisions. At key times towards the end, the runs didn't come. The boys fought hard, and we'll move forward from this."

Talking about the rare occasion where SRH gave away a huge score like 218, he said, "The surface here is tough generally; today was a good wicket obviously. It was important for us to not get carried away early on. The ball flies at this ground, so you can make up. We were close but not close enough,"

The picture of modesty and class, Kane Williamson who has scored 625 runs so far in the season, said, "It's about playing your role for the team, as well as you can,"

He concluded by saying, "We played on a number of tough wickets. We have to find that balance and get some momentum. Credit to RCB again; they deserve to win. They bowled nicely towards the end."
