Mumbai Indians notched up a much-needed win against Kings XI Punjab yesterday night at the Wankhede stadium thereby strengthening their chances of making it to the IPL 2018 playoffs. 

However, the MI skipper found himself in an awkward condition after the match as he was seen wearing an Emoji uniform. The franchise has made it a part of their gameplan to punish players who don't follow the given guidelines. It is filled with the funny emojis of the players in the squad and Rohit is not the first to wear it. The likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan and Rahul Chahar have also been on the receiving end before and now it seems that the skipper of the team has made a mistake.

Rohit's wife Ritika shared a picture of him on her official Instagram account and captioned it as “@rohitsharma45 This was inevitable.”

Mumbai's IPL campaign has come back to life after Mumbai's win against Punjab last night. They have one more match to go against Delhi Daredevils on Sunday. They need to win that game as well in order to confirm their place in the playoffs. Mumbai's season started on a forgetful note and they have done incredibly well to turn their fortunes around on the campaign so far.
