Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated King XI Punjab (KXIP) in a close encounter by 3 runs to stay alive in the race to playoffs qualifications of IPL 2018. They had Man of the match Jasprit Bumrah to thank for, as his 3 wicket haul was the reason for MI’s win.

All so more, as Bumrah got rid of KL Rahul, when the KXIP opener was going great guns on 94 and was looking threatening to take his team to the win. His wicket effectively drew curtains on KXIP’s chase. They were left with 38 runs to win off 18 balls and it proved to be too much for the team.

KL Rahul was presented with the Orange Cap for most runs in this IPL 2018 and was also awarded the Stylish Player of the Match. However, Rahul was seen dejectedly giving away his trophy to the fans at the Wankhede Stadium.
