Suresh Raina, the Chennai Super Kings left-hand batsman, and an Indian Premier League legend, has come out and stated that the biggest advantage for players playing under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the clarity in communication of the roles they receive from a set-up under him. 

Players exactly know what they need to do under Dhoni reiterated Raina and he thinks this as one of the reasons why CSK has been so successful over the years. 

Suresh Raina was recently quoted saying to India Today that, "The bowlers are always told what plans they need to execute in the middle. As a professional cricketer, you need to know all that,"

"I know what I need to do out on the field but getting advises from the captain, especially for the bowlers.... If they are not hitting the right lengths and if they are giving away extra runs repeatedly.. those things can make you extra annoyed"

"That's why he(MS Dhoni) keeps telling them 'you need to improve your game'. He has mentioned that again and again in press conferences. He is expecting a lot from them (the bowlers). The next step is playoffs and you cannot make any mistakes there"

He further added, "The moment you make a mistake in the playoffs, you are out of the tournament. That's why he wants to correct all these mistakes so that when the moment arrives, you do not make a mistake there," 

What makes Mahendra Singh Dhoni even more determined for this season is the exile that CSK went through for the last two seasons despite being Indian Premier League's most consistently brilliant team.
