Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni is having a great time in the ongoing Indian Premier League. With 412 runs in 13 innings, Dhoni is currently the third highest run-getter for CSK in IPL 2018 despite batting in the middle order.

Apart from his awe-inspiring show with the willow, Dhoni has led the team exceedingly well. CSK along with Sunrisers Hyderabad are the only two teams who have secured their playoffs berth as of now. Chennai have won 8 of their 12 matches and are currently placed at the second spot on the points table.

Hailing Dhoni’s contribution as a captain and a batsman, CSK batsman Suresh Raina has labelled the Jharkhand man as one of the top leaders in the world and simply the finisher in cricket today.

"There are a lot of X-factors in the Chennai Super Kings team. By God's grace, we have qualified for the playoffs every single year we have played in the IPL. One factor I would say is MS Dhoni... he is the number one finisher in the world. He is definitely one of the top leaders in the world," Raina quoted as saying by India TV.

"Also, another big factor this year for CSK has been Michael Hussey. Hussey has played with me, Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson earlier and he has made a big difference for us in this season," he added.

Raina, who has spent the chunk of his India and IPL career under Dhoni’s leadership, feels that the World Cup winning India skipper is a natural captain and his approach always remains the same.

"There's no difference between MS Dhoni as a player and as a captain. I have always felt that he is an honest captain. He works really hard with all the boys. He is very approachable for all the young players," Raina elaborated.

Raina, who has scored 315 runs in 11 innings of IPL 2018, believes that veteran like Harbhajan Singh and Shane Watson have been vital for the Men in Yellow.

"Harbhajan Singh is bowling really well for us, especially in the power-play overs and Shane Watson who is one of the most destructive batsmen in the world and is a disciplined cricketer. When you have such experienced players in your team, you tend to win games. Earlier, a lot of people were saying that our team is aged but you need experience," Suresh Raina concluded.
