Daniel Vettori, the head coach of the Royal Challengers Bangalore, has come out and stated that he feels Virat Kohli led team plays at their best when they have the freedom to play their natural carefree brand of Cricket.

RCB has made a late surge into a season which has gone basically poor for them. They are languishing at the 7th position in the points table currently with only five wins in twelve games and need to win their last two games handsomely to have any chance of reaching the playoffs.

Daniel Vettori was recently quoted saying about his team and their overall situation in the IPL that, “We have to give ourselves the opportunity. Kohli has spoken to the team about the need to be desperate as we are desperate to win. We should be carefree, that’s when we play our best. Virat has been amazing, his versatility, the way he led against on KXIP,”

RCB further plays Sunrisers Hyderabad at home and then plays Rajasthan Royals for a game away, both are must-win encounter for which they'll have to be up for it.

Vettori showered praise on Umesh Yadav who is currently the highest-wicket taker for his team with 17 scalps. He said, “Umesh is very skillful, has been a regular wicket-taker for us and has the experience too.”

Talking about the late resurgence of his team in this season, Vettori said, “We have filled the gaps and balanced out the team. Every team is on the path to find the right balance.”
