Chris Woakes, the Royal Challengers Bangalore fast-bowler, has come out and expressed his delight to have played another season with the Virat Kohli led RCB in this year's Indian Premier League, as he flights back home.

Chris Woakes has been selected to play in the upcoming Test series for England against Pakistan, where the first Test starts from May 24. He got a call yesterday from the England Cricket Board(ECB) National selector Ed Smith to have been selected for the all-important first series of the home summer.

Chris Woakes only played 5 games for Royal Challengers Bangalore and picked 8 wickets in this season but playing in India, again, must have been a very learning experience for him. As he strives to become an all format player for England in different conditions.

Woakes put an Instagram post where he posted an image with the caption, "Thoroughly enjoyed my time at this years IPL with @royalchallengersbangalore! I will be following closely from home and backing the boys to go all the way ???????? good luck lads! #playbold @iplt20 @yuzi_chahal23"

Chris Woakes will now take back this experience of having played under Virat Kohli for Royal Challengers Bangalore in front of huge crowds on Indian pitches, in the Indian Premier League to his exploits for England team internationally across formats, playing under Joe Root in Test Cricket and Eoin Morgan when he plays limited overs formats. IPL is helping not just the Indian but overseas cricketers too, immensely.
