KKR won the game comprehensively against Rajasthan at the end at Eden Gardens by 4 wickets to go up to the third place in the points table and thereby strengthen their chances of making the playoffs.
A responsible innings from Chris Lynn (45 from 42) laid the platform for KKR in a chase of 143. Dinesh Karthik 41* and Andre Russell then ensure that they take KKR home and add two more points to their tally. Sunil Narine 7 ball 21 run cameo helped things for KKR.
Earlier, Rajasthan was put into bat first and they got off to a rollicking start courtesy their openers. Both Buttler and Tripathi tonked the KKR bowlers and racked up 51 runs inside the powerplay. However, a superb bowling spell by Kuldeep Yadav (4 for 20) helped KKR pull back things in their favor in the second half of the Rajasthan innings.
