Chennai Super Kings’ fast bowler Mark Wood, who had to leave the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 early to get start preparation for the English summer, has congratulated his CSK teammate Ambati Rayudu in a very unique style for his maiden IPL century on Monday (14 May).

Hyderabad’s Rayudu led the CSK from the front by hammering his maiden IPL ton against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in an IPL 2018 match in Pune on 13 May. The 32-year-old right-hander smacked the ‘best bowling side in the competition’ for unbeaten 100 off 62 deliveries including 7 fours and sixes.

Although it was Rayudu’s maiden century in the tournament, he is already in the sizzling form with the bat in ongoing IPL 2018, amassed 535 runs at an amazing strike rate of 152.85, and is the third highest run-getter in the T20 even at the moment.

Even though, the English man is currently busy in practice with Durham County Cricket Club for the coming domestic season, but Wood is still following CSK’s game in the English county dressing room.

On Monday (14 May), CSK posted a video on their official microblogging site Twitter, where Wood along with his Durham teammates were seen paying tribute in a very special way to Rayudu’s match-winning innings and CSK’s win over the SRH in Pune.

In the video, they were seen singing a lovely little jingle showering praises on Rayudu, and the Hyderabad batsman will certainly love the video and appreciate the warm regard from his CSK teammate Wood, who has sent it from England.
