Shane Warne, the mentor of the Rajasthan Royals, has come out and expressed that the RR captain Ajinkya Rahane will make a return to India's limited overs sides sooner rather than later.

After going through a series of poor performances in South Africa, Rahane was dropped from India's squad for the 3 match ODI series against England. Rahane has been an enigma of a limited overs batsman, where he has had the ability to match other best modern limited overs batsman shot by shot, but the quality has never really unleashed and resulted in runs.

Shane Warne was recently quoted saying about the issue that, "I think he (Rahane) is obviously disappointed(on being dropped). But Rahane is a quality player, he is a quality act. We know he has the class,"

"He will be captaining the Test side against Afghanistan. Rahane is a wanted player and will be back. He will be playing ODIs and T20Is soon,"

Warne also talked about the other Rajasthan player, Jofra Archer, who has played a crucial role in the resurgence of his side in this Indian Premier League season. He said, "Archer is a class player, with him we have more chance (to enter the playoffs). Disappointed not to have him for the first few games, Our chances are pretty good as players like Archer definitely help the side. He has been brilliant for us,"

Warne is always considered to be "The best Australian Captain that they never had", he was asked whether there is any regret of never being appointed the captain. He said, "No, not all regret. Lucky to have played under good captains for Australia. I enjoyed being the vice-captain."

"I had a wonderful opportunity to work with captains like Mark Taylor, Allan Border. But I really enjoyed being the captain of Rajasthan in the first ever IPL 2008,"
