Moeen Ali played his second game for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) this season against Delhi Daredevils (DD) at Feroz Shah Kotla, where he exhibited a good bowling performance.
He could have continued it with the bat but, unfortunately, missed out even after given a chance to open the innings. But his contribution in the bowling was enough for him to get lauded by the Kiwi cricketer Brendon McCullum on Twitter.
The English all-rounder picked up one wicket and gave just 25 runs in his 4 overs. His economy of just 6.25 was impressive when all the other bowlers, except Yuzvendra Chahal, conceded runs over 9 per over.
Ali deserved the praise because he picked up the wicket of orange cap holder Rishabh Pant who was batting on 61 off just 34 balls. RCB won the game by 5 wickets and McCullum didn't miss out on praising 'Sir' Moeen Ali in his tweet.
His tweet read, "Top win from our @RCBTweets boys last night. Never say never in the @IPL. We have to do it the hard way but why not...@MoeenAli I like your bowling Sir."

Ali was cheeky with his reply. He made it look like McCullum is paid to praise him. "???? thank you sir. Have you got you bagages? ????," he responded.

Well, McCullum aka Baz, got it covered. "Yes @MoeenAli Sir and our luggage’s," he wrote.
Yes @MoeenAli Sir and our luggage’s.
