MS Dhoni is amongst the top 10 highest run scorers in this year’s IPL 2018. He has hit most sixes so far in the tournament and is looking his vintage self-more than ever. He currently has 360 runs from 10 games at an average of 90 prior to this match.

Currently leading the CSK team in the IPL 11, which are placed 2nd in the points table, MS Dhoni spoke about his plans before the commencement of IPL 11. He said that he talked to coach Stephen Fleming and cleared that he wishes to bat higher in the batting order this season.

Before the start of the IPL, I spoke to Fleming and said to him I would like to bat higher. As I bat more and more, I can give you good returns and it was a gamble he took," Dhoni, who has clobbered 27 sixes and 19 fours so far, said.

MS Dhoni was under scrutiny for his slow batting in recent T20Is, but he has shown everyone that he will prove you wrong every single time. He has been demolishing the bowlers with ease with a strike-rate of 165.89.
