Stephen Fleming, Head coach of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), believes that Rajasthan Royals can be dangerous for his team when they will face each other in their next IPL 2018 fixture at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Friday (11 May).

New Zealand great believes that the teams like RR can be dangerous for other top teams, as they have nothing more to lose and need to win each coming IPL 2018 encounters at the moment, and they will certainly try to win.

In such circumstances, CSK can’t take them lightly as it will force them to wait for another match to qualify for the playoffs, however,  if they manage to win Jaipur contest then they will officially make it to the IPL 2018 playoffs, insisted Fleming.

As per reports in PTI, Fleming told reporters at pre-match press conference, “The teams (like Rajasthan Royals) which are in a situation where they have to win each game can be dangerous. We would be playing with full intensity. We know we are a couple of games ahead but we don't want to be in a situation where we need to scrape through in last games. We will not be complacent.”

On being asked about Jaipur wicket, Fleming said, “In the last couple of matches, this wicket had slow, low and variable pace. We have an-all round talent in our side suited to all type of conditions. We need to have the right combination to counter conditions.”

On RR skipper Anjikya Rahane, he said, "He is a fine player and is doing a nice job of captaining Rajasthan Royals. We would like to get him early because he can be a big influence for their innings."

Fleming signed off by saying, “If he plays well there can be more freedom for the likes of Jos Butler and Stokes. He can be more attacking than what he looks like. It is always nice to have the captain early.”
