IPL 2018: Ganguly, Harbhajan, Raina and Sehwag amazed at Rishabh Pant’s savage 128*

Delhi Daredevils hosted Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium looking for a win to stay alive for the contention of playoffs.

Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bat first against a strong bowling attack of Sunrisers. SRH managed to keep DD to 48/3 in the first 9 overs. However, after that, needed to push on the scoring rate, Rishabh Pant unleashed a savage attack on the SRH bowling.

He scored his first IPL century, making 128* in 63 balls with 15 fours and 7 sixes with a strike rate of 203.17. He was so savage that he took the best bowler of SRH lineup, Bhuvneshwar Kumar for 26 runs in the 20th over of DD’s innings. He was so dominant, that he added 63 runs for the 5th wicket with Glenn Maxwell, with Maxwell scoring just 9 runs in the partnership.

Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag and Suresh Raina were left amazed and shocked at the way Rishabh Pant unleashed his attack on SRH bowling.

Virender Sehwag also tweeted in his own style, “Really special innings from Rishabh. Those were not bad balls from Bhuvi in the last over barring the last full toss, but Rishabh Pant is really special and I hope he is nurtured well.
