Delhi Daredevils hosted Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium looking for a win to stay alive for the contention of playoffs.

Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bat first against a strong bowling attack of Sunrisers. SRH managed to keep DD to 48/3 in the first 9 overs. However, after that, needed to push on the scoring rate, Rishabh Pant unleashed a savage attack on the SRH bowling.

He scored his first IPL century, making 128* in 63 balls with 15 fours and 7 sixes with a strike rate of 203.17. He was so savage that he took the best bowler of SRH lineup, Bhuvneshwar Kumar for 26 runs in the 20^th over of DD’s innings. He was so dominant, that he added 63 runs for the 5^th wicket with Glenn Maxwell, with Maxwell scoring just 9 runs in the partnership.

Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag and Suresh Raina were left amazed and shocked at the way Rishabh Pant unleashed his attack on SRH bowling.
