IPL 2018: Kane Williamson's captaincy has helped SRH immensely, says Tom Moody

Kane Williamson has been magnificent for SRH in this IPL season.

Tom Moody, the Sunrisers Hyderabad head coach has come out and stated that Kane Williamson's captaincy has been one of the big reason behind SRH's success in this Indian Premier League season.

Williamson has shown tactical excellence at times in this IPL leading his team in crunch situations of close games and now his head coach has reiterated & echoed this sentiment. 

Moody was recently quoted as saying that, "Kane is a very astute captain. There is no secret in that either, we know what he has done with New Zealand,"

"Most people forget Kane's not that old really when it comes to being around international cricket, but he has got a very wise head and he reads the game very well and he has managed our pressure situations really well. It's great to have someone like Kane taking that responsibility for SRH"

"And from my perspective it has been terrific because we have formed a strong partnership which I think is important in regards to our planning for matches, reviewing matches and moving on as quickly as possible,"

Kane Williamson who has swiftly made the tough transition of replacing David Warner this season. Himself said recently, "I don't think it's a matter of replacing David Warner. I think that's probably an impossible thing to do. He is one of the best T20 batters in the world and for this franchise in the last few years," 

Sunrisers Hyderabad is currently sitting at the top of the Indian Premier League points table with 16 points from 10 games. They play against Delhi Daredevils tonight at the Kotla.
