Ishan Kishan of Mumbai Indians (MI) played innings of his IPL career. He played a 21-ball 62-run knock against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) which ensured a big win for his team.

MI flew away with the game after putting up a show at Eden Gardens. They are currently at No.4 on the points table after thrashing KKR by 102 runs.

Kishan's innings was surely the highlight of the game and the peak of his innings was against Kuldeep Yadav in 14th over. He hit the chinaman bowler for four consecutive sixes; with the last one seem to be a helicopter shot.

It was enough for Michael Clarke to call Kishan, 'Left-handed MS Dhoni'. The helicopter shot is an iconic hit of Dhoni. Clarke said, “Look at that, a bit of MS Dhoni there, left-handed MS Dhoni.”

Kishan has played with his state teammate Dhoni. He also spoke out that the veteran cricketer has helped him a lot with his inputs. “He (Dhoni) is also from Jharkhand and I am learning from him every day,” said 19-year-old.

“Whenever we meet he gives me tips. It was just that I was not prepared for the delivery, but still I have practiced that shot in the nets and it came of well," he added.

No bowler could hide from Kishan's murderous batting. Debutant Prasidh Krishna was hit for three boundaries in an over before the southpaw made Kuldeep his victim.

“When I had a chat with Rohit Bhai, he asked me to back myself and I waited for the delivery and watched it till the last moment and kept on smacking it. When I hit my first six, Rohit Bhai said if you get the ball, got for the shot and my thinking was, if the ball was in my area. I am going for it,” said Kishan.
