Mumbai Indians are literally threatening other teams to book a slot into the top four as they have turning their season around with two wins out of their last three games. They won against KKR in their last home game and faces them tonight at the Eden Gardens again with an eye to extend their winning streak. Their previous win against KKR was important to say the least and tonight as well they look for another important win in an away contest. 

KKR on the other hand, have been in the top four throughout the season so far. However, they lost some games which they could have won this season and the match against Mumbai was one of such kind. Uthappa was going great guns and post his dismissal KKR seemed to lose the plot. Karthik challenged himself to score 23 off the last over for KKR but failed to cross the line as KKR lost their fifth game of the season. 

Tonight's game is thus important for both teams. KKR is back at home where their spinners thrive. On the other hand, Rohit's love affair with Eden Gardens is not an unknown fact. His only ton in the IPL came against KKR and that too at Eden. Tonight thus at Eden he will be looking to script another love story in the ground he likes playing the most.

As far as team changes from both camps for tonight's game is concerned, with Shivam Mavi injured and Prasith Krishna taking his place in the lineup, KKR will look to field the same XI. Mumbai too would not like to tinker with their winning combination unless there is a forced last-minute change in the lineup. 

As far as the playing conditions are concerned, there is a chance of rain in the afternoon but is expected to get cleared by match time. Pitch will have pace and bounce and will keep the batsmen interested. However, with a game at the Eden Gardens, spin is always expected to play a part in the game.
