IPL 2018: Kane Williamson sees Siddharth Kaul sporting the Indian jersey soon

Kaul has taken 13 wickets in 10 IPL 2018 matches so far.

The right-arm fast bowler Siddarth Kaul has been doing exceptionally well for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the ongoing 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018.

He also received a lot of applaud from cricket pundits to cricket legends for his stunning displays with the ball in the IPL 2018 so far, and many believe that he can be a crucial weapon for India the T20 format.

So far in the IPL 2018, Kaul has taken 13 wickets at an astonishing economy rate 7.05 in 10 matches, and his Captain Kane Williamson believes that the 27-year old bowler would get a chance to don the Indian jersey soon following his eye-catching display in the tournament.

Williamson told Sportstarlive, "I think he would get a chance to don the Indian jersey soon. He is a brilliant T20 bowler."

Meanwhile, it is known that the SRH laced with some of the talented bowlers in their line-up likes of Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddharth Kaul, Basil Thampi and Sandeep Sharma –who have been doing the terrific job in the IPL 2018, and even their success is heavily laid by their brilliant display.

On 7 May (Monday), the SRH bowlers have successfully defended their fourth total in the IPL 2018 against the RCB to maintain their top spot in the IPL 2018 points table.

Williamson also picked Kaul as his key weapon for the death overs, which is his strength because he is using the variations and yorkers at the death perfectly.

He signed off by saying, “When, as a captain, I am looking for aggressive options to operate at the death and that is one of his strengths. He is using his changes and getting the yorkers at the death perfectly.”
