Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt was in Indian Premier League (IPL)'s pre-match show for promotion of her upcoming spy film 'Raazi'. While she talked about her movie, the young actress also spoke out on her love for cricket.
Not a cricket expert, but Alia was quite spot-on with her pick when the actress was asked about a cricketer she would pick for a role of spy. The 25-year-old replied 'MS Dhoni'.
“I think Mahendra Singh Dhoni would make a fabulous spy. His facial expressions are totally on point. For me Dhoni is perfect for the role of a spy," she answered.
Praising how the IPL tournament brings the family close, she said, “The tournament is a very ‘parivarik’ experience which involves the entire family in a bundle of entertainment."
Oh yes, and she knows what the league is all about. Alia said IPL is giving a lifetime opportunity to display their talent. “The best part about VIVO IPL is the fact that it gives a spectacular opportunity to youngsters to showcase their talent by giving them a really big opportunity,” said
Alia also sang a song with the former Australia cricketer Brett Lee. She was astonished by the voice of the pacer, and surely wasn't expecting a sweet voice under an aggressive bowler.
