Rashid Khan, the Sunrisers Hyderabad wrist-spinner, has come out and expressed that playing for SRH in Hyderabad in front of the home crowd feels very much like playing in Afghanistan for him. The IPL franchise based in South has welcomed Rashid with open arms, ever since he has started playing for them from the last season.

Rashid Khan bowled a really crucial spell for his side, again, as they were able to restrict Delhi Daredevils for a score of 163 in the end despite a very good start. His spell of 4 overs for just 23 runs and 2 wickets paved the way for SRH winning another close encounter and earned him the man of the match award.

After the game, Rashid was quoted saying, "Feels really good to perform well and play 100 games at such a young age. I had two bad matches, so had to keep everything simple, do the basics right and enjoy myself"

"That is the main strength - the quick arm action which makes it difficult for the batsmen. That's the only thing I'm taking advantage and working hard on it"

"The main thing is to bowl at good length - that is important for me. Feels like I'm playing in Afghanistan. The support and the love they've given me in the last two years, it's amazing. It gives the motivation. Feels good to perform. I don't think there's anybody who doesn't watch IPL (in Afghanistan). I think their prayers help me, especially my parents,"
