Kolkata Knight Riders’ fast bowler Shivam Mavi got the opportunity to meet the legendary MS Dhoni after his team’s match against the table-toppers Chennai Super Kings on Thursday (May 3) night.

Ecstatic with the interaction, Mavi shared the image of himself with Dhoni on his official Twitter account and captioned it as: “The pieces of advice you gave me after the match are highly appreciated and words can neither qualify nor quantify your guidance and useful advice. After impressing one and all with his pace and accuracy in the triumphant Under-19 World Cup earlier this year, the 19-year-old Mavi is now leaving a mark on the cash-rich event. Although Shivam didn’t pick a wicket last night, he bowled quite economically (3-0-21-0) as KKR restricted CSK to 177 in 20 overs.

Chasing the target, Kolkata rode on Shubman Gill’s 36-ball 57 and Dinesh Karthik’s 18-ball 45 to secure the victory with 6 wickets in hand and 14 balls to spare.
